Pricing: When I checked pricing on 9/29/2011, the south tower was $49 per night and the north tower was $79. (The south tower is much older than the north tower. The rooms in the north tower will be nicer).
Distance to our meeting: Bally's is a 3/4 mile walk to the Platinum Hotel.
Distance to the strip: Bally's is on the strip.
Benefits: You can walk into Paris right next door where there are good restaurnts.
You can also walk across the sky walk and you are at the Bellagio. You can get to a lot of nice places quick that you would want to see.
#2. Super 8. Clean and cheap.

Pricing: When I checked pricing on 9/29/2011, $38 per night. If you book 2 nights or more you can get a 15% discount.
Distance to our meeting: Next door to the Platinum Hotel except for a 7-11 in between.
Distance to the strip: Super 8 is a 3/4 mile walk to the strip.
Benefits: You get a free courtesy shuttle from and to the airport. (This can save a $25 cab ride both ways).
It is next door to Ellis Island Casino and Brewery. It has 2 GOOD restaurants located in the casino Very good food. Barbecue Ribs & Pizza restaurant.
#3. Tuscany

Benefits: Probably considerably nicer than the rooms at the Super 8.
#4. Bellagio a luxurious casino

Distance to our meeting: 1.2 miles
Distance to the strip: Located on the strip.
Benefits: When you return home you can brag to your friends you stayed at the Bellagio.
Shopping:
If you need to get to a grocery store instead of paying high food costs on the strip, you can get on a
$2 flamingo bus, and go down to Smith's which is a large grocery store.
Attire: Casual dress is all that is necessary. Jeans or Levi's are fine. No tie's or suits are expected. Tim Drobnick Sr. will be wearing Levi's and a shirt with a collar.
April weather in Las Vegas > sometimes days are only in 50's or 60's, and may rain > mainly sunny and 70's.

If we have hundreds of people that want to attend we will make sure we have accomodations for the next semi-annual meeting.
